BIO: Bashing Beautician is a full time mom, hairstylist and roller derby skater. She enjoys spending time with her team and her two kids. Roller derby has opened many doors in her life, from feeling strong when she didn’t think she was, to being able to explore this beautiful state of Alaska that she now calls home. Teaching women who come into roller derby is something that makes her realize all the hard work and time put into it is worth it. “Being able to tell people you feel strong as a woman is very empowering, but playing roller derby shows it!”
RANDOM FACT: I’m left handed, so everything I do on and off the track is usually backwards!
BIGGEST INFLUENCE: Is wanting to be better. Watching other skaters who can do something I haven’t learned how to do or are not able to do yet and practicing and practicing until I can do what they can do!
FAVORITE SKATING MOMENT: I have been striving to receive MVP for three years a and I finally put myself all out on the track and earned my MVP Blocker from DDD!! Thank you ladies!
